A by Adina proudly supports the Canberra Art Biennial

This spring, A by Adina Canberra is proud to support the Canberra Art Biennial and welcome In Service, a major exhibition curated by Canberra-based curator, artist and artworker Grace Blake. From 11 September to 29 October 2026, the exhibition will be installed throughout the hotel lobby and neighbouring 1 Constitution Place foyer, transforming familiar public spaces into places of curiosity, creativity and reflection.

Featuring works by acclaimed artists Jennifer Mathews, Sam Tomkins and Minka Gillian, In Service explores the systems, structures and materials that quietly shape the way we live, work and move through the world. Through sculpture, installation and industrial design, the exhibition invites visitors to take a closer look at the objects, technologies and infrastructure that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

Perfectly positioned within Canberra's cultural precinct at Constitution Place, A by Adina offers guests a front-row seat to one of the city's most anticipated cultural events. This collaboration brings contemporary Australian creativity directly into the spaces our guests call home during their stay, creating an experience that extends beyond the traditional gallery setting.

The wider Canberra Art Biennial returns for its sixth edition from 11 September to 31 October 2026, presenting contemporary public art across Canberra through sculpture, installation, performance, printmaking and new media. Highlights of the 2026 program include major new commissions from artists across Australia, encouraging visitors to experience the nation's capital from new perspectives.

Guests and visitors are also invited to attend a special artist talk on Saturday 12 September, offering insight into the ideas, materials and creative processes behind the exhibition.
